BOOKING  INFORMATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

To book an appointment or consultation please contact the studio directly either by phone, email or in person TO DISCUSS YOUR REQUIREMENTS. All official bookings must be made in person. everyone WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING PHOTO ID AS PROOF OF AGE AND EVERYONE MUST FILL OUT A DISCLAIMER FORM BEFORE BEING TATTOOED. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU FALSIFY YOUR DISCLAIMER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE.

All tattoos require at least a 25% deposit and all tattoos over £200 will require a 50% deposit, with no exceptions. This is to protect the artist's time. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required if you need to reschedule your appointment. Any reschedules after that time will require a new deposit to be left. IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT, NO EXCEPTIONS. 

Is your tattoo studio wheelchair accessible?

yes, STEP FREE ACCESS AND A WIDE DOOR

yes, THERE IS A FREE CAR PARK LOCATED AT THE END OF THE ROW OF SHOPS WE ARE LOCATED ON


Do you allow children in the studio?

sorry UNDER 18'S ARE not PERMITTED IN THE STUDIO AT ANY TIME


What are the studio's opening hours?

mONDAY BY APPOINTMENT. tUESDAY- SATURDAY 11AM- 6PM 


Can I preview work that the artists at the studio have done?
yes, TAKE A LOOK AT THE gallery PAGE ON OUR WEBSITE OR CHECK OUT OUR ARTISTS INSTAGRAM PAGES, WHICH CAN BE FOUND UNDER THE ARTISTS SECTION ON OUR WEBSITE. 


Aftercare


Can I get my new tattoo wet?

you can get your new tattoo wet to specifically wash it, using warm water and unscented soap. A shower will be fine, as long as you are cleaning your new tattoo after as well. Do not submerge in the bath or go swimming for at least 2 weeks or until fully healed


What if my tattoo gets infected?

Stop using any creams or ointments, wash your tattoo and dry it. Seek advice from your doctor

 
Will hair still grow through my tattoo?

Yes 


Can I shave over a new tattoo?

No, this could lead to infection as well as damaging your new tattoo, refrain from shaving until your tattoo is fully healed 


Why is my tattoo peeling and flaking off?

This is a completely normal part of the skin healing process and shouldn't last more than a few days. DO NOT PICK ANY SCABS/FLAKING SKIN!


I work out a lot. What precautions do I need to take after getting a tattoo?

KEEP IT CLEAN, DO NOT RUB OR COVER YOUR NEVER TATTOO. WASH, DRY AND CREAM YOUR NEW TATTOO immediately after your workout 

 
Can tattoos be removed?

The only way tattoo's can be removed is via laser, by a qualified trained professional. This is costly and painful, which is why it is important to consider the permanence of the tattoo that you are getting


Will my tattoo fade?

Yes, like your body over time they will fade. However with proper care and protection from the sun, you will keep them brighter and fresher for longer


What is the aftercare for my new tattoo?

You will be provided with a printed aftercare sheet upon the completion of your visit. As well as recommendations on aftercare cream/balm 


Do I need to protect my tattoo from the sun?

Absolutely! Whilst healing you will need to keep your new tattoo out of all direct sunlight and keep away from sunbeds. After healing we recommend putting a factor of 30 or higher on your tattooed skin to protect them and keep them brighter for longer


Will you touch up my tattoo at no additional charge?

Providing proper aftercare has been followed it is unlikely your tattoo will need to be touched up. However due to the placement of some areas. some ink may drop out. you will be advised of this at your appointment and in these cases we will touch up free of charge within 3 months. We will not and we reserve the right not to touch up tattoos free of charge where proper aftercare has not been followed

 

Costs & Payment


Do you sell gift vouchers for tattoo work?

Yes, vouchers are available in £50, £100 and full day. These can be purchased in the studio


How long do I need to give to move an appointment before I lose my booking fee?

48 hours


What is your minimum charge for a tattoo?

£50 


Are booking fees or deposits refundable?

No, all deposits are non refundable with no exceptions


Does the deposit or booking fee come off the final cost of the tattoo?

Yes


What method of payment do you accept as the final payment for a tattoo at the studio?

Cash, bank transfer or card (please note payment via card will incur a 2% transaction fee )


Do you require a booking fee (deposit) before any work is done?

Yes with no exceptions, all tattoos require at least a 25% deposit and work over £200 requires a 50% deposit. This is to protect artists time and limit no shows


Do you charge a day rate for tattoo work?

our day rate is £450 


How much do you charge per hour for tattoo work?

our hourly rate is £80 


What is the cost of a tattoo dependent on?

Generally time, however some work may be set priced due to the skill complexity of the work


How can I get a price quote?

Health and Safety


Can I get tattooed if I have a Specific Medical Condition?

Dependent on the condition yes, please talk to the studio regarding your condition beforehand


Do you properly dispose of contaminated materials?

Absolutely, everything is properly segregated into specific clinical waste bins and collected by a specialist company  


Do you wear gloves during the procedures?

100% yes no exceptions ever, which will be changed as necessary throughout your appointment 


Do you thoroughly wash your hands with antibacterial solution immediately before and after each tattoo?

Yes

Can I get a tattoo whilst pregnant?

Sorry we do not tattoo when pregnant, we would advise a 3/6 month wait after pregnancy to get tattooed while your body is still healing


Can I get a tattoo even though I am currently breastfeeding?

Sorry we do not tattoo nursing mothers 


What is the minimum age you need to be to get a tattoo done?

18 no exceptions, parental consent is a myth. ID WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE 


Do you use brand new needles?

EVERY SINGLE TIME. OUR NEEDLES ARE SINGLE USE ONLY. needles WILL ONLY BE TAKEN OUT OF THEIR SEALED PACKAGING WHEN WORK IS BEING STARTED IN FRONT OF YOU.
 


Pain


I have sensitive skin. Would that be a problem?

if YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF SKIN CONDITION YOU SHOULD SEEK ADVICE FROM YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE GETTING A TATTOO DONE 


Any advice on dealing with the pain of getting a tattoo?

RELAX! GENERALLY IT NEVER HURTS AS MUCH AS YOU EXPECT OR AS MUCH AS YOUR FRIENDS TELL YOU! we WILL TAKE BREAKS AS AND WHEN NEEDED


Which parts of the body does it hurt the most to get tattooed?

tattoo PAIN IS SUBJECTIVE DEPENDING ON THE INDIVIDUAL, HOWEVER IT IS GENERALLY AGREED THAT RIBS, ARMPIT, ELBOWS, NECK, HEAD, KNEES, ANKLES AND FEET ARE THE MORE PAINFUL AREAS 


Does getting a tattoo hurt?

the COLD HARD TRUTH IS YES. HOWEVER THE INTENSITY OF THE PAIN VARIES FROM AREA TO AREA AND PERSON TO PERSON. no PAIN NO GAIN!


Can I use some kind of painkiller before getting a tattoo?

NO IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE ANY PAINKILLERS. AS THESE WORK BY THINNING YOUR BLOOD, WHICH WILL MAKE YOUR BLEED MORE AND COULD POTENTIALLY AFFECT THE QUALITY OF YOUR END RESULT

What forms of ID do you accept?

photo ID IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY APPOINTMENT. pHOTOCARD DRIVING LICENSE, VALID PASSPORT AND CITIZENCARD ARE VALID TYPES OF PHOTO ID WE ACCEPT


How do I book an appointment?
ACTUAL APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON 


Is it OK to get a tattoo if I'm sick?

eWWW NO, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH US 


Should I eat before I get tattooed?

EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! yes this is a must, eat something substantial before your appointment

What information do you need when inquiring about getting a tattoo done?

As much as possible! including; reference pictures, placement, size, colour etc 


What are some of the dos and don'ts before getting a tattoo?

Do- eat (if booked in for a long session bring some food and drink), hydrate, shower and get a good night sleep beforehand

don't- do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, take any illegal substances, take painkillers, do not show up in dirty work clothes or boots 

Anyone under the influence of any drugs or alcohol will be turned away and you will lose any deposits already paid


What type of clothing is suitable to wear on the day?

whatever you are comfortable in, however we need to be able to get to the area that is being tattooed. Loose shorts are advisable for leg and thigh tattoos, a shirt worn backwards for back tattoos is a good idea also. It is also a good idea to not wear white, lots of people have specific clothes to be tattooed in, in case of any ink or blood stains.

no we currently do not


Do you do ultraviolet / black light tattoos?

No, these do not last and would be a disservice to you 


Do you accept walk-ins?

Sometimes, get in touch first to see what spaces we have available, short notice and cancellation spaces will be posted on the front page and on Instagram as they come up


Do you do cover ups and fixes?

Where possible yes

not currently 


Tattoo Design


Do you do really simple designs?

its your tattoo, we are happy to discuss any ideas 


How do you copy designs given in by the customer?

We will not copy an exact existing tattoo, we will however redesign the tattoo with you to give you something unique to you 


Is there anything you will not tattoo?

anything that can be construed as offensive, racist or otherwise inflammatory 


I have some ideas but am not very artistic. Can you help me design my tattoo?

absolutely drop in and we will help you out 

Can you cover up an old tattoo with a new tattoo of the same size?

dependent on the design and the condition of the existing tattoo generally cover ups have to be slightly bigger, however we can best advise you on this in person

What kind of script style / fonts can you do?

Many, if you have an idea, give us the name of the font and we can take a look. 


If I have dark skin can I still get a tattoo?

yes of course, the artist will be able to advise you on a good colour palette to work with your skin tone


Can you offer advice on symbols or lettering?

yes, we can do a wide range of styles


Can you offer advice on colours?

absolutely and we have many different colours available 


Can you offer advice on what sizes would work best?

of course


Tattoo Placement


Can you tattoo over stretch marks?

Yes, but the appearance may differ to what you may expect so please bare this in mind 


Can you tattoo over a scar?

yes we can and have a lots of experience in doing so, tattooing over a scar may be more sensitive though 


Do you do inner lip tattoos?

yes we do 


Do any of your artists tattoo on the neck/face/head?

yes we are able to work on these areas and have experience in doing so. however due to such placement, it will be carried out at the discretion of the artist and existing coverage will be taken into consideration


Can you do tattoos on feet?

Yes, including soles
